Wild flower gallery

Welcome to my wild flower picture gallery. Photography and wild flowers have been interests all my life. Although I can’t claim any great skill in pursuing either hobby, it’s been a huge pleasure to be able to combine the two. Not satisfied with travelling in Britain and abroad to photograph plants, I’ve also done my best to encourage native plants to grow wild in the garden – despite frequent disputes with Sue over the alleged “weeds” which invade her carefully tended flower beds. 

So just for fun there are two photo galleries here – one to feature just some of the more interesting examples of Britain’s flora which I’ve been lucky enough to photograph since the advent of digital cameras, and the other to celebrate a few of the marvellous native wild flowers I’ve coaxed into our garden.
